We continue to sing the praises of two small independent Champagne houses – Georges Gardet in Chigny-les-Roses on the Montagne de Reims and Gosset in Aÿ. Our House Champagne, Gardet’s Cuvée Saint-Flavy, continues to represent great value for a wine with significant bottle age and their Brut Special, with more Pinot Noir in the blend, has more weight and structure. Gosset’s wines go from strength to strength. We also like Pol Roger's range (nb great deal on the vintage) and Jacquesson's delicious Cuvée No 731.
